Installing the HDSP 9632 was simple enough, both mechanically and software-wise, and although I didn't need to perform a firmware update, previous experience of Hammerfall cards would suggest that this is a pretty straightforward process should it become necessary. Whether I am under my AKG phones or listening to my tracks through my JBL 4326 monitors,my mix translates every time. Tracking live in 32/96 with zero latency (even when loaded up with multiple plug-in effects and synths) is incredible! I have nothing negative to report!! The software mixer is truly intuitive and simple to use.Buy this card and listen to your studio come alive with crisp clear sound at every frequency!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Works Well With Windows 7 If you are running Windows 7 OS on your PC, then this is an interface that you're definitely going to want to take into consideration. The drivers are fairly easy to install and update. At&t pop server settings. In fact, I had more trouble with the physical installation of the card than I did with the drivers. I would highly recommend purchasing this with the professional analog breakout cable (also available here on the site), especially if you may need balanced XLR in/outputs. I use this product to do much of my home recording. I can say that I did have issues getting it to record in sync with Cubase 4 in the beginning; however, once I re-installed the drivers, the problem was immediately corrected.
The sound quality is great, and there are plenty of ins/outs to accommodate my needs. I am quite satisfied with this purchase. So, if you need an audio interface that will be stable and reliable with Windows 7(32 or 64bit), then the HDSP 9632 is a product that you should definitely look into.
