The burgers at Mac's are not bad. Nothing really to rave about and they are on the small side - so I would suggest ordering 2. Fries are OK. I also got a roast beef sandwich one time and that was better than the burger.

I will say that my wife (who grew up in gville) loves this place - perhaps that's why I was expecting more from them. But like a previous reviewer stated - it is a 'Gainesville tradition'.
