This $30 app WORKS after trying four others that DIDN’T. Formerly I used Acrobat, but we’re only CS6 and in High Sierra, Acrobat X no longer does OCR. We can’t afford the astronomically expensive $80/mo per computer for Creative Cloud.
I tried several others on App Store, even paid for some, but none worked, altho one PDF OCR X did work but produced a very simple text file w returns at end of every line, just almost unusable.
