Using the Magic Trackpad 2 on older Macs. Since I wrote about the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad earlier this week, I’ve received a lot of questions and feedback. Turns out people really care about input devices! Personally, I find the Apple Magic Mouse 2 much more precise to use, and actually prefer to use it as opposed to the trackpad on my Apple notebooks; I have an Apple Magic Trackpad 2, also, for use with the MBP that serves as a desktop replacement, but have pretty much set it aside and rarely use it at all.

I bought the magic trackpad to replace a 2-year old well worn wireless mouse that had a tendency to take a nap and disconnect itself at the worst possible times. I was hesitant after reading that drag-and-drop was a problem with that trackpad.
Click too light, nothing happens. Click too hard, it does everything but pick up what I'm selecting to drag. I have to keep my magic mouse next to my new trackpad just for clicking and dragging. Mtk6573 drivers for mac. Needless to say, I didn't return this one. This is a beautiful trackpad. It feels like an upgrade to my MacBook Pro trackpad. And it worked perfectly directly out of the box. As far as claims of glitchy connections with the laptop, I've dealt with a lot of glitchy wireless mice in the past even to the point that I finally went back to completely hard wired.

The SAP SQL Anywhere ODBC drivers and the MobiLink server are included in the SAP SQL Anywhere 17 product. When SAP does not provide an ODBC driver, then you must use one provided by another vendor. ODBC drivers from other vendors may not support some optional ODBC functionality that the MobiLink server requires. James, I do not know whether SQL Anywhere 17 supports Mas OS X 10.13, however, there's a separate official forum on SQL Anywhere here which gets more attention by SQL Anywhere experts IMHO. The only time I had an issue with it dropping connection to the laptop was as it neared the end of the battery charge. It would connect and disconnect over and over again. I plugged it in and charged it, but it kept doing the same thing. So I switched it off and back on and it was as good as new, solid, precise, perfect. A lot of reviewers complained about the click and drag. Let me clarify.
